Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Services for Mrs. Anna B. Howard, 79, of 2102 Cannon, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Eldon Gourley will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Howard died Friday at Lake View Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 27, 1890, in Covington, Ind., the daughter of William and Druzilla Lemon Ward. She was married to Charles Howard who preceded her in death in July, 1963. Survivors include a son, Ernest, of Danville; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Elizabeth) Hickman of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Hoagland of Covington, Ind. She was preceded in death by a son, four sisters, and two brothers. She was a member of the McKinley Methodist Church, the Old Rails and New Ties and the Gray Ladies. Her hobbies were gardening and raising flowers.  --typed by Walt W
